Show Notes:
Meet Our Guest and Chief Gardener:
Amanda Beeler
Amanda finds her joy on the golf course and by building things – from building clients’ confidence in their golf game, to backyard improvement projects, to developing a cannabis consumer program for Garden Society.
Amanda moved to California working for The First Tee program – First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to kids and teens. Through after-school and in-school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference.
Would Getting Better at Golf Make You Happy?
Explore Operation 36 that Amanda discusses in the podcast. If you are a complete beginner, Op 36 was designed to be the best on-boarding experience with the game. Ladies and Men can now improve their game in a group coaching program. Meet some new friends, learn, and lower your scores!
Teach Yourself Stuff
Don’t limit yourself to things you already know. The internet is an excellent resource for teaching yourself new skills. Hop on YouTube and learn to fix, build, improve, and create all kinds of stuff. With practice and effort you can even monetize your hobby.
Learn to Reframe!
Amanda knows she’s out of balance when she has to work at being happy. Notice your triggers. And be conscious of the stories you tell and how you frame your and others’ roles in a situation. If you work to understand and reframe things, you’ll always find a perspective that better serves your highest good.
Amanda Beeler, Chief Gardener for Garden Society, has been with the company for two years educating the canna-curious about the incredible benefits of cannabis. Amanda has been invaluable in the development of Garden Society’s direct to consumer program.
